Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following categories of personal information:
-
Information you give us. Name, email address, phone number, and any details you submit through our registration, contact, or newsletter forms (our forms are powered by GoHighLevel / LeadConnector). This may include your role, company, and your goals or interests in AI.
-
Payment information. When you purchase a seat, payment is processed by our third-party registration and payment providers (for example, Luma and its payment processor). AISA does not collect or store full payment card numbers.
-
Workshop participation data. Attendance, questions you ask, work you produce in exercises, and — where applicable — photos, audio, or video recordings of sessions (including Zoom recordings).
-
Information collected automatically. When you use our site we automatically collect device and usage data such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring URLs, and interactions, via cookies and similar technologies (see Section 4).
2. How We Use Your Information
- Deliver our programs: process registrations, confirm seats, send reminders and materials, and run the workshops.
- Communicate with you: respond to inquiries and send service messages, and — if you opt in — newsletters and updates about upcoming sessions (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- Marketing & measurement: understand how our site performs, measure and improve our advertising, and reach people who may be interested in our programs.
- Safety & compliance: protect our participants, enforce our Terms, and comply with legal obligations.
3. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We share it only as described here:
- Service providers who help us operate, such as GoHighLevel / LeadConnector (CRM and forms), Luma (event registration and payments), Zoom (online delivery), Google Workspace (email and documents), and our email and hosting providers.
- Analytics & advertising partners — Google (Analytics & reCAPTCHA), Meta (Facebook/Instagram), and LinkedIn — who process data through the technologies described in Section 4. Some of this activity may be considered "sharing" for targeted advertising under California law; see Section 6 to opt out.
- Instructors and facilitators who need attendee details to deliver the program and follow up with resources.
- Legal and safety — when required by law, to enforce our agreements, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of AISA, our participants, or others. We may also share information in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
4. Cookies & Tracking Technologies
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to run the site, remember your preferences, measure traffic, and support advertising. The main third-party technologies we use are:
- Google Analytics 4 — site analytics and measurement.
- Google reCAPTCHA — to protect forms from spam and abuse (subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms).
- Meta Pixel — to measure and optimize advertising on Facebook and Instagram.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag — to measure and optimize advertising on LinkedIn.
- GoHighLevel / LeadConnector — form submissions, CRM, and conversion tracking.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and opt out of many advertising cookies via tools such as the Google Ads Settings, the Meta ad preferences, and your LinkedIn settings. Blocking some cookies may affect how the site works.
5. Data Retention & Security
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described here, to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or de-identify it. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your data; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
6. Your Privacy Rights
California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to request access or deletion, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.
Other jurisdictions (including the EEA/UK). Where applicable law provides them, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, and to object to certain processing or withdraw consent.
Marketing opt-out. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in any message, or by contacting us. To exercise any privacy right, email hello@aistartacademy.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
7. Third-Party Sites & Services
Our site links to and relies on third-party services (for example, Luma, Zoom, Skool, LinkedIn, YouTube, and Instagram). Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we encourage you to review them.
8. Children's Privacy
Our programs and site are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
9. International Visitors
AISA is based in the United States and our service providers may process your information in the U.S. and other countries. By using the site or our services, you understand your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version here and revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
